Chuck prepares athletes for high school, college, and professional sports, both physically and mentally teaching his players how to access the “higher mind” for a true competitive edge. And Chuck knows this first hand, which is what sets Chuck apart from other trainers and motivational speakers.
An elite athlete in his own right, Chuck broke the modern day field goal record for Philadelphia High Schools in the “All Star” game, and earned a full football scholarship. While in college, Bushbeck was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease, a potentially fatal lymphatic cancer, but this did not stop Chuck as he underwent operations and frequent trips to the hospital as he continued to play Division 1 football. His determination was the focus of media attention and drew nationwide notice, and he captured his journey and philosophies in two books — “Full Armor” and “Quiet Toughness.” He was featured as Comcast’s’ MVP (2006) for his work with inner-city baseball youth and has been featured on ABC Health Watch for his expertise in pitching performance and keeping pitching arms safe.
