Chuck Bushbeck’s story is one of overcoming obstacles, and staying motivated even when the worst is ahead of you.
A gifted athlete, Chuck excelled in baseball and football, ultimately earning a full scholarship to Villanova University where his kicking caught the eye of professional football scouts. More importantly, It was during this time that Chuck was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease and he was recognized for his determination to not let a potentially fatal lymphatic cancer stop him from achieving his goals of playing professional football. Chuck chronicled this journey in his first book, “Full Armor.” Following his professional athletic career, Chuck entered the field of Behavioral Heath where he spent 30 years in the business and then 10 years in ongoing research in order to produce his second book, “Quiet Toughness”.
His work with athletes, preparing them for high school, college, and professional sports, both physically and mentally teaching them how to access the “higher mind” for a true competitive edge, is what sets Chuck Bushbeck apart from other corporate trainers and motivational speakers.
